Since 1885, Royal Selangor has been synonymous with design and craftsmanship, offering a wide range of tableware and gift items.
In 1979, the company received a royal warrant from the Sultan of Selangor. To reflect the royal endorsement and diverse nature of the company, Selangor Pewter changed its name to Royal Selangor in 1992. Today, Royal Selangor has a retail presence in more than 20 countries and has worked together with partners such as The Walt Disney Company South East Asia and Warner Brothers.
All Royal Selangor pieces are made of high quality pewter consisting of as much as 97% high quality tin, with a small proportion of copper and antimony added to strengthen the alloy. All Royal Selangor pewter is lead-free and food safe.
